I know a few people on here have these kits. Any good?
Do they have to come from Pelican or can you buy them in the UK?
How long do Pelican take to ship?
Am I likely to get it in time to fit for Classic LeMans...

It's in the US and will take a while to ship over. Definitely a good alternative to hacking big holes in your door panels.

I've got the same, no complaints.

I got mine via Performance Products, they can ship via UPS express 3-5 days providing they have one in stock, if not it can take a little longer as they'll have to get it from John Moch.

It certainly cheers up the underneath of the dashboard as well and hides any wires that are showing.

Do you have any pictures of this solution installed?

I basically have a later dash (san speaker grill) and are currently retro fitting a 1970 frankfurt radio (previous owner bless him cut holes in the front door pockets) and thought this solution would work.

I have a rear speaker set up in mine. I wanted something that looked period and also involved no cutting. The sound quality is very good and most people think they look like rear headrests.

The resto of my RHD S is starting to add up so I will be selling my spare one of these. If you are interested - £100 and it yours. It already has speakers as well, and they sound fine but I suggest replacing them. With no cutting, this is the best option for sound in a 911/912.

Quite agree Alan, for sounds in an early car you can't go wrong with these, and for that price it's well worth it

unfortunately won't work with my inertia reels...
