Bent Fuchs...

I recently got a set of deep 6's for next to nothing but sadly 2 are a tad bent, fine up to 60mph but anything over that and they begin to wobble. I tried getting them balanced at the tyre shop but they required 90gms of weight yet still wobble :( . This is both really uncomfortable and wil not do the the steering rack and suspension bushes any good at all.

Would anyone know if they can be straightened, and could you recomend anyone in the UK to do the job?

Thanks one and all

Yes, most bent Fuchs can be straightened - Biaggio can get this done.

Maybe Nick (Moss) can get it done too.

There is a chap down in Bournemouth that can also do this, but there is a limit to what can and should be done. Yours do not sound to bad Darren.

Thanks

Alan

Thanks Alan, i don't think they're terribly bent either. I'll be paying Nick a visit next week to see what can be done with them :)

A long way from you Darren, but if you get stuck, www.alloywheelrepairs.com do the rally boys work.

Steve (the guy who came along to Elvington) supplies them with industrial gasses and speaks very highly of them - I've also seen wheels they have straightened in the past with great success.
