Hello...
I have 'Cookie Cutters' on my 73 911T, but want to replace them at some point with Fuchs. What size Fuchs should I be looking for? I want it to look as low profile as possible but would be keen to directly switch the tyre's off my 'Cookie Cutters' as they are like new. Is this poss?

If you want the tyres to fit on new rims you'll have to buy fuchs of at least the same diameter and nearly the same width as the cookie cutters.
There should be numbers on the wall of the tyre that gives you this information. This page will tell you how to decipher the numbers:

As for the question of what size fuchs you can fit on your car, I'll have to leave that up to someone else with a bit more knowledge.

Although mines a 76' model, it is a narrow body. I've got 16s under my arches, 6" front, 7" rear, running 205x55 all round.
I had slight chaffing of the inner arch lip under hard cornering, which I solved by slightly rolling the lip over with a big round chunk of wood and using the wheel as leverage. Dead easy with no paint cracking, although the paint was only a few months old and I did it on a nice toasty summers day.

Yor cookies should be 15x6" all round, maybe 7" on teh back?
If you like fuchs, get some 15x6" fuchs. If you wanted more rubber then you could fit 7" wide although depending on what tyres you will be fitting they might just rub your arches.
Don't fit 16" Fuchs on a nearly car. IMHO they would look crap

Cheers for the advise chaps....
15x6's sound good. I really want to put on the correct size for the year. Does anyone have you any example pictures of cars fitted with 15x6's all round?!
I'll also have a measure up and see what size cookie cutters I've got!

Thanks for that picture. That's exactly the look I'm after. So they're 15x6 fuchs all round then? They look great... Nice car by the way!
Not sure what tyres are on my cookie cutters, will have a look.
What sort of price should I be expecting to pay for a good set?
