Setting up Webers?

As my speedster is running crap, but is equipped with Weber 40s, wheres the best place to look for info tuning them?
Also what are the recommended venturis and jets for a stock Super 90 motor?

settings generally vary from motor to motor, even the same spec!
Its best done on a rolling road, so it can be setup throughout the rev range.
Mine came back from a local (Derbyshire) rolling road/tuner yesterday and runs miles better than it did before. They set the timing, balanced the carbs and the set the jets. All for £50!
Also make sure all the ignition parts are in good shape, dissy, rotor, plugs leads, etc. Accurate valve/rocker gaps are essential to smooth running. Air leaks on both inlet and exhaust side of things will also affect smooth running. Get those right before paying out at a tuners, unless you want them to it.

Was there not a book on the subject, I know there was one for Dellortos.

Don't think so matey, think you packed them up with your gear! Going to try and get the Haynes book on Webers I think.
Shame GRV closed up shop, don't know of another rolling road locally.....
Anyway Matt, get back to your ten gallon hat!

I'd check out your yellow pages, or the classic car section. Most places can deal with a pair of webbers, doens't really matter what they are attached too.
Ring around a few places and see how you feel about them, although not local to you
http://www.peter-burgess.com/ it just shows they don't have to be Porsche specialists. The problem is just finding someone who knows carbs, its getting a forgotten art these days as most just specialise in EFI
