Original versions came in 6 or 7 x 15" - both in Magnesium & Aluminium alloy - if you get offered any make sure that you get the special sleeved lugnuts that go with them.

it's the 7 x 15" in aluminium that I am after given the choice, a friend of mine had these on his early 911, but sold the car with them on before we could do a deal.

Thanks for the info.

Well it's been a while but I have managed to get 3 - yes just 3, of the 7 x 15" Ali Torq Thrust American racing mags for a fairly reasonable price.

Now I just have to start seriously searching for 1 or maybe 2 more, so if anyone out there hears of any for sale I would appreciate a call.

What a wheel, Dave Conklin runs them on his 911 in the States.

Dave's are the magnesium inset type with curved spokes. Very cool.
