Hi Here is my pulsar project -

Its based on VW front and rear axles on a ladder/spaceframe chassis.

It does need a fair bit of work but I'm hoping to have it ready sometime this year. It currently has a rolcage loosely bolted in place and I am finishing of a 1600 bug engine to go in it for now (until I can afford something bigger  )

I'm hoping to find a cheap ducktail engine lid for it, so any advice on where to get one of these cheap would be great.

the general look and panel fit of the car isnt too bad for a full fibreglass bodied replica, but up close you can see where the rear lights etc dont quite sit correctly.

Anyway, I hope to keep you updated on my progress ;)

Cheers

Dan

Right, update time -

I have fitted a 1303 1300 gearbox along with a modified gearlinkage and scat beetle shifter, the handbrake assembly is coming together, I just need some tubes for the cables to run through.

Its really awkward fitting the gear linkage coupler, it looked like it would be easier fitting the locking bolt from underneath but now its in there it looks like there is more access from above

I've fitted some wheel adapters and trial fitted a set of cookie cutters

I think they go well with the look of the car, although I think I am going to go for taller tyres.

More updates to follow!
