From all accounts the 'Ghetto' Cup box or mod is the best one to go for. Also its reported to release more power that some cone filters. I think this evidence was supported by some back to back dyno runs.
I am running a 'ghetto' or DIY Porsche cup box on my 3.2 and must say it sounds great and the engine does seem to breathe better aswell.
Get the old Makita out and cut your lid buddy, you won't regret it. Costs nothing.
