Wheel Spacers

Anyone know of a good source for wheel spacers? since having my brakes overhauled my front tyres are almost touching my front shocks. Porsche seem to want around £60 each for their 5mm spacers and the ones from my local MaxPower LED light emporium don't fit (annoyingly cos they're about £5!).

Why is this ?
What work was carried out when the brakes were 'overhauled' ?

I had new discs back and front, calipers rebuilt and steel brake pipes made up to replace the old rubber jobs. I'm guessing the new discs are marginally thinner than the old ones hence the rub. It was an MOT fail which I've hopefully got round by putting the old steels back on (they're an inch narrower).

Porscheshop do 6mm spacers for (I think) about £20 a pair - yes 19.80 plus VAT
