hi
rear spring plate to be precise

I am poised to buy a set of poly bushes but do not know whether to buy them for the rear spring plates
I would like to get the (gruby but otherwise perfectly sound) plates replated so that rather suggests i have to cut off the old rubber and buy new poly bushes, but what does everyone think ?

Mine are pitted in appearance, probably because the inside of the torion cover tube is pitted with rust, but otherwise they seem sound

help please

ps the inside of the tube will be made good with weld and ground to a circular profile again, but is the snug fit between poly bushes and steel less forgiving than the softer rubber bushes and going to be a problem in the future......?

thanks a lot
