flying by the seats of my pants (at least the passenger is)

Another search for links to a step by step thread...
There are two bolts securing the bottom of the hinge that fixess the seat base to the seat back on recaro sports seats, right?
Well, in my psngr side seat, one sheared off in the seat base fixing and the other has gone awol. (don't ask - heavy passenger,
and some enthusiastic country driving in the sun on Saturday 8) )

So, I'm thinking, seat out, drill out the sheared bolt, refix with new bolts, reinstall seat...?

Again, Haynes seems rubbish when it comes to seats - anyone point me to a decent thread here or elsewhere?

Thanks guys!

The threads are welded into the frame. You may be able to get a nut on the inside of the frame if you can get your fingers up inside. The right way to do it is to take off the cover and foam and reweld the captive nut

Thanks Nick. Good self control at not suggesting I pay you to do it
But seriously, it's going to be a pain as I have so little space to work on the car. Frustrating that I can't get enough access to score the head of the sheared end that is left in the frame, then i could use something flat headed to simply unscrew it and replace?
