Fitting of chrome euro headlights

Hi...

Has anyone had trouble fitting euro chrome headlights to replace the US style ones? I collected my car last week from the docks having been shipped over, but it's spent the last week waiting to be MOT'ed and have the lights changed. The lights are brand new BOSCH full light units with chrome surround, which I bought and gave to the mechanic. Apparently he can't find fixing points. Can anyone help?

Clips over a tab on the bodywork at the top, with a single screw fixing at the bottom through the bezel, a rubber gasket runs around the rim.

Shouldn't be a problem unless previous owners have modified the fixings.

Thanks....

I don't imagine the previous owner has modified anything, but I've not had a chance to look at it myself yet. The mechanic has apparently left the US chrome surround on, and now fitted some Mini lights! Not happy...

I'll have a look and try and do it myself I think.

Should be a fairly simple job then?

mine have always been a pain in the ass, as the top part of the bezel always pops off the tab at the top when the screw is tightened at the bottom. One of those simple job that are really aggravating, well in my experience it is.

Have fun
