An original '805.10' 380mm leather steering wheel ...

I had been saving this for a future project but that's unlikely to happen now so it's up for sale.
This is an original '805.10' leather-rimmed version - identical in all respects to the '806.10' wheels fitted to '73 Carrera 2.7RS models apart from having a '5' in the part number rather than a '6' ... & indistinguishable once the hornpad (or hockey puck) is fitted.

Most of these wheels have been recovered by now which makes finding wheels like this one all the more difficult.
This wheel still retains its original leather cover - something that's virtually impossible to replicate - although I think it may have had the stitching replaced at some point.
The wheel is in lovely condition & the leather has no cuts, scrapes or sun-dried areas - but this is a 55 yr old wheel & as such, does exhibit some signs of use, which, to my mind, makes it all the more attractive.
This wheel is a direct fit on any early ('65-'74) 911, '65-'69 912 or '70/'71 914/6.
Finding any of these wheels in good condition with their original rim covering has become increasingly difficult over the past couple of years & prices have risen accordingly.

* I can also supply a suitable butterfly hornpad, original indicator cancelling ring, spring & thrust washer at additional cost if any of these are of interest.
