I've removed the crankshaft and bearings etc from the case.

It's a standard 1700 crank, w code engine.

My new gauge tool is arriving later today. What are the measurements for

crankshaft bearings on the shaft
con rod bearings on the shaft.

are there tolerances for these measurements?

The crank outside diameter will have a spec for the main journals and the rod journals. You need a micrometer or 2 to measure that (micrometers are 0-25mm, 25-50mm, 50-75mm, etc).

The case bores will have a spec, and need to be measured with the case bolted together at the correct torque.

The inside of the bearings will have a clearance spec, this is measured inside the case / rods when assembled and torqued to spec. You can measure the clearance with plastigauge or a bore gauge.

You perhaps already know all this but was maybe worth sharing.

The specs on the right side are the type4 1.7litre engine

I have a 1.7 crank that run well in my car before replaced. If you find you need a replacement you are welcome to it
