Calling Replica Speedster Experts

I have a colleague that is looking to get himself a speedster replica. he doesn't have the space, time or expertise to build one so is most likely looking for a second-hand replica under 20k.
My knowledge on Speedsters is rather poor and replica's less so, so I was hoping I could ask a favour from one of you to have a chat with him about what to look for, i.e which kits are best, which engine to go for, price, running costs etc.
If anyone can help please could you PM me and I'll have my colleague give you a call/e-mail.
Many thanks
Luke

I must admit I miss the one I had. One day will do it all again. And with a Porsche engine again as well. Top cars great run to drive a must do before kids come along ... Mine was an APAL kit only down side to the whole car was the rear lights I didn't like them.

The debate on which kit is best runs and runs and runs with owners of different makes being very passionate about theirs!
Obviously a lot depends on the build quality.
If he's looking for built cars then the best place to start is here

I might be tempted to sell my Apal - if he's interested, drop me a PM.
