Hi folks. Looking to buy a complete original spec early shifter for my ‘73 car, as a comparison with mine which has been Wevo’d. Doesn’t have to be perfect, and I can live with or without the rubber boot and the gear knob.

Just a thought:
Tuthill may have such things or Greatworth Classics.
As an aside, i have tried 3 of the usual modified tall towers on my 915 (perfect condition) box, and the stock shifter is the best for me for just normal road driving.
Maybe ask if you can borrow one from a fellow DDK'r for a few gold coins to the Charity?

Hi ,
Yes Tuthill's does have one , part number 91142401906 , although the earlier type has a part number of 91142401905 .
DDK member price is £350.00 gbp + vat
Thanks

Hi Matt, thanks for this. Is there any significant difference between the shifters with these different part numbers?
