DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Hello everybody just thought i would introduce myself, my name is John & my wife and i are proud owners of a 1972 2.4S coupe. The car was a garage/barn find back in March 2024 after sitting in said garage for 43 years. It was in a terrible state when found,but has been totally transformed by Alan and his team at Canford Classics. The car in question was originally supplied new in Belgium and came to the UK in 1979, subsequently taken off the road around 1981/82, it has its original clutch dated Feb 72 when the engine and gearbox was stripped down. We believe that the mileage of 19.4 kilometres to be correct and that when it was in use in the UK it wad around the midlands area. If there are any questions happy to answer them as best i can.

Welcome to DDK, sounds like a lovely car, not long till the salt will be gone and you can add some more miles!

Yes it’s gone to topaz in Southampton for PPF, then it’s back to Alan’s for fit out, so should be ready in early May.
