My 63 SC

It's been a while... Ive recently moved and repatriated the 356 Ive owned since the 90s, it was my late fathers before me.
Its been a slow old resto as its been stored in my mums garage for at least the past decade, heres a couple of photos. I think all I need to do is put the doors/windows back together.
Dave Clark at Airwerx is an old friend and repaired a lot of the front metal on the nose/wings/doors which had suffered from rot over the years.
Ive been working on the electrics recently, and am looking to replace the ancient tyres with some Pirelli CN36 Cinturato.
Colour is ModeGrau.

Is a good looking car. Assume the tyres currently on the Fuchs are wrong profile ?

Cheers! yeah, I wanted wide low profile tyres in 1999  also they have chronic flatspots and cracking these days, just time to treat it to some nice new appropriate rubber.

Very Nice.
Are you going to apply for an age related number plate, or keep it on the one when they gave, the year of import, to a car?

I'll keep that one, its had that for as long as I can remember, its a quirk of the car. It was originally an Italian car.

I’m a great fan of a Fuchs on a 356 and similarly it never ceases to amaze me just how much purer a T6 (and it has to be said a T5 too) looks with over-riders, bumper trims and bonnet handle removed!
Car looks just right!

What motor are you running? The ansa glass pack looks like we used on Vw’s in the 90’s!
