Hello all

I really need to buy a part that is for sale on kleinanzeigen in Germany. As they now insist on two-factor authentication of accounts it is now impossible for me to even message the seller or sign into my account as you cannot use a UK based phone number. Are there any helpful members who would be willing to help me out? I would need someone to buy the part then forward it to me once they receive it. Wouldn't even need to unbox it (but could do if you want to make sure its not an elaborate scam of some sort!)

I am happy to advance the money for the part upfront, plus some extra for your hassle, and obviously cover payment for the delivery to the UK.

The part is not especially large/heavy or awkward to mail etc.

Can anyone else think of a way around this ongoing issue? Theres a wealth of inaccessible car parts on there I cannot even message the sellers about. In the past most of theme were more than happy to ship to the UK when asked....

No affiliation, but I know E-sims work as well for this sort of thing.

You can get around this by getting a German member to provide there phone number to you, then they will send them an authentification code to enter. Obviously you will need to be in communication with them live via Whatsapp to enter the code ....then your in. I did this with a French site. We are now scum on these Euro sites due to Brexit.

It's also worth checking german ebay as the same sellers are often on there & you could communicate via that route ...

Yes this is very difficult, you often need to send 3-4 messages to organsise a sale and that would require signing in numerous times, you would need a very helpful person with an EU number.

You have to have an EU phone number in order to be able to register and use Kleinanzeigen

You can select remember your log in details so you are always signed in. I have done this with a few sites.
