Porsche 911 2.8 RSR and 914-6 GT Oil Cooler

A pre-sale if you will.
As the 3.0 RS/RSR Oil Coolers I had fabricated turned out pretty good ( http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=72824 ) Paul Howells and I teamed up for another project fabricating the earlier oil cooler fitted to the 2.8 RSR and 914-6 GT using his original NOS Behr Cooler to copy......well it's taken some time but we are now at the stage where cores have been sourced, end tanks and brackets modelled and castings made as well as the fabrication of the oil pressure relief valve and springs etc, see images below.......now for the fabrication which will be completed by the F1 and Historic Racing specialist fabricators Concept Racing ( https://conceptracing.co.uk ). Once complete they will be given an Alocrom protective coating to give that period authentic green tinge.
These will be a true faithful reproduction of the original Behr 2.8 RSR oil cooler, built to the exact look and dimensions as well as being a proper super lightweight fully functioning motorsport quality cooler that resembles the original wonderfully.
This will be a limited supply of coolers which may not be repeated. Nearly all of my 3.0 coolers were shipped to the US and expect most of these will be too.....if this is something of interest, especially if a 914-6 cooler without brackets is needed, please let me know and we'll keep anyone on DDK informed before a general sale.
