Beware of payment scammers!

We recently had a situation where a member responded to a For Sale advert and said they'd have an item.

The member then received an unsolicited email with dodgy payment details for the item.

We're not 100% sure how he got the email address (you can elect to show your email address on here or at least allow emails from other members)

So be careful.

Deal directly with the seller using Private Messaging - new members on here can;t use the PM facility until they have completed a number of posts and if I see any dodgy speed posting I'll step in.

Just be vigilant and if anything appears dodgy report it to me so I can set my dogs, fists, mental torture and divine retribution on them
