Hi everyone
I have just joined the group - thankyou
I live near Cheltenham and drive a LHD 1966 SWB 2 litre car which lived in Oregon for most of its life. Now in UK after some time in Switzerland. Matching numbers, repainted at least twice, just about to lap 200,000. Has a bit of a Sports Purpose thing going on..heuers, cibie's, period recaros and Jaz warmed engine with Mahle pistons etc.
I have been very lucky to buy an old Betty Haig 911 recently. BH was Le Mans racer in 1951, Monte Carlo, San Raphael etc. Car was from AFH in 67 and is original paint, engine and gearbox, RHD and 24000 miles. Dickie Stoop helped improve suspension set up. Article about the car in 29 edition of 000 which is hopefully being published soon
Look forward to being part of this group - Nick
