We need to make a few oil lines for '69 to '71 oil systems and we're looking for a source of 18mm outside diameter metal tube. Steel or brass. Wall thickness 1.0/1.2 mm.

All the stock holders we've spoken to so far can only supply imperial sized pipe. We're fairly sure metric tube must be available in Europe but does anyone know where to look?

We'll also need more 22mm OD soon but the 18mm is urgent for now.

Alternatively we would buy any gammy old oil lines from '69 to '71 cars.

Hello Angus,

I get brass tube from P&P Non Ferrous https://www.ppnonferrous.com/contact-us , for steel seamless tube try https://www.hublebas.co.uk/products/col ... e-cfs-nbk/ , unfortunately metric is always hard to get.

1.5mm wall 18mm tube is fairly common but 1.0/1.2 is less so, although per spec under DIN2391

Thanks Bruce M. We just got a new pipe bender and put some 2mm wall steel pipe through with no problems so we'll go for some 1.5 and see.
