Oil pressure check 2.2T

Looking to do a pressure check to see how accurate my on board pressure gauge is. As its a comparison check i do not want to tap into existing pressure sensor port. Whats the most convenient other pressure connection I could use.

Albeit on my 3.2, but I can't think of a tapping you can use except the block by the fan outershroud where the sensor is.
You might try the oil temperature sensor tapping just below the oil pressure sensor?
I would imagine that position would see actual engine pressure.

Depending what options you have, my 2.2 takes the pressure reading from the top, rear of the engine, which drives an oil pressure light, and no gauge.

In my case I've inserted a supplemental 3.2 oil pressure sensor into the hose that exits near the fan.

I have no idea where in the oil system the two spots take a reading from and how closely they should correspond. My post describes how I inserted it.

different to the 5.2 the 2.2 sensor is at the clutch end of the engine not the fan end. Having said that the oil pressure light connector is in the same place at the fan end. This would be a good place to go in as it leaves the gauge sender iin situ. Does anyone know the thread on the oil light pressure switch
