FRONT indicator housing has 2 contacts ??

I posted a week ago about a problem with my 1969 911T that has FRONT twin contact indicator housing ( twin element) .

My question is : Can anyone suggest how to change the twin contacts so as to take a standard 21/5w indicator bulb. I have tried to post a photo without success so have enclosed a link to a good article showing the US version.

http://www.audettecollection.com/a-guid ... n-signals/

It states:
Front Turn Signals – U.S. Version

The turn signal for the U.S. has two bulbs:

A dual filament bulb mounted in the center rated 21/5w or 32/4cp as written on the inside of the housing
A single filament bulb mounted in the outside end of the housing rated 2cp for USA and 4w for ITAL

Any help would be much appreciated.

Might be missing something but why not keep as it is and use a Stop/Tail dual filament bulb, with only the Stop wired (as indicator)

Thanks PeterK , I did try that but without deleting any wiring , no success unfortunately.

You know you only connect one wire to the bulb, right? I mean if you have one wire going to the bulb and your earths are all good, I don't understand how it's possible to avoid success.
