Dry January 2022

Post by Bootsy »

As has become a bit of a tradition for me today marks the start of Dry January #dryjanuary

31 days - alcohol free

Rather than setting up a new donation I try to keep things simple and just ask if anybody feels inclined to help spur me on to pop a quid or two into the JustGiving page

https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ddk10kfor10years

Any pennies appreciated

See you in February for a large glass of red!

We all know that February is a better month to go dry - less days

18 days in, all going well.

I wish I could say my skin is better, I have more energy etc. etc. - all the things the organisers tell you will happen.

To be honest I feel tired, miserable and grumpy - but I think that's just January!

Anyway, thanks for a couple of donations which I think I can put down to coming from here.

Feel free to drop as penny or two here https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ddk10kfor10years to help me reach the finish line.

A quick thank you to anybody who popped a few quid in the pot. There were a couple of donations I can attribute to coming from here so thank you.

If you doubted me and would like to still donate please do at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ddk10kfor10years

Thanks again!

Cheers James, appreciated (the donation, not you waiting until the end of the month!)

I never bother myself as I only have a couple of ales a week so barely seems a challenge. I guess if you're hitting the bottle daily then that's an achievement, so well done pal. 8)
