Hi all, it's been yonks since i posted, owing to lengthy resto. The part below goes in the door assembly we think but not sure where, when or why...
can anyone shed any light? for a '72 2.4 E (Barry's old one). Cheers, Pete

They're the 'hinges' for the rear pockets in the lower part of the door panel ...

Looks like you have a few answers, but just to add to those, they actually limit the opening distance of the large door pockets (to the end of the spring arm), and latch it there (hook at the end of the spring arm).. and provide a smooth surface for the bungie cord to come through (the donut bit)... the plastic peg on end of the large pockets slides down the spring arm...
