Spacer in sunroof lifting mechanism

Hey all,
With the help of a couple of the guys over on IB, I have established that I have a part missing in my sunroof mechanism that explains why it has never worked quite as it should.
I'm talking here about my '83 SC. There is a spacer that allows the bracket at the rear edge of the sunroof panel to pivot even when the rest of the setup is bolted together tight.
It looks like this:
The spacer is the piece on the bolt.
I'm hoping maybe some of you who have deleted your sunroof might have something like this around?
