If cheap enough, I would like to buy a 915 tower shifter, stock, or even a 'low' type as long as it is for the 5 speed 915.

My German spec 73T came with a low shifter (like the ones used on the 901 boxes) as it had a 4 speed 915 box.
The car now has a 915 5 speeder from a 1985 911 so not sure if a low type would work, but prefer a tower.

I will be at the Swap Meet at the end of the month, so anyone with one or a trader, please can you pm me?

I simply want to compare a bog standard shift on my 915 in comparison to the Rennshift I currently have.

Hi Graham. Not sure what your thoughts are re a comparison. You can try the one off the rally car if you like.

Hope to put the 911 into storage next week to press on with the 3.2, so maybe in the spring when it comes out?
Just want to see if the notchy change is the shifter, the box or the operator. Suspect the latter...
