my crankshaft is worn on big end journals 1 & 6, struggling to find someone to refurb it so if anyone has a crank still in usable tolerences please can you let me know? I am Newbury / Basingstoke location.
Car is a 1976 911S but I think the 2.4 might also be the same?

Try owlesbury crankshafts in Winchester. They will grind it for you if it is savable.

To be honest I would just walk in with the crankshaft and show it to them.
They are a pretty old school outfit, used to dealing with the trade and not the most communicative over the phone.
I think their prices were something like £35 per bearing surface, so about £200 for all 6. Oversize shells are available in .25 increments up to 1mm (if I remember correctly).
They also do magnaflux crack testing which is advisable if the damage is bad, like a spun shell.
A replacement crankshaft will be over £1000 if you can find one and still may need work.
Don't ask me how I know all this........
