Hi can anyone advise on a replacement pump for a 72 2.4 T with the pump at the back?

I had a couple of pumps rebuilt for my 1972 ST (MFI) One functioned reasonably well but the second pump did not give sufficient flow rate. In the end I 'bit the bullet' and purchased a new Bosch pump from Porsche OPC. Not inexpensive but after begging I got a good discount. Stretch on here had a similar experience and also purchased a new pump. However, I think Richard ( Safety colours) had a rebuilt pump which functioned reliably.

Give Steve at Ken Mills Injection a call. He supplies pumps and checks them for correct operation and pressures before sending them out.

Sadly not, Kirk. I had a rebuilt pump which p*ssed fuel everywhere! And another non-rebuilt which did the same.

So I did this:

Faultless so far (touch wood).

To the OP: with apologies I can't remember whether a '74 T is MFI or carbs. MFI is much more demanding in terms of required flow rate, I think. Anyway tell KMI what you are running and they will sort you out with the correct spec.

I use a weber fuel pump for my zeniths on my 2.2T - works well after 6 years hasn't failed.

I rang Kpi today unfortunately they only do fuel injection and no pumps for carbs. still looking there are plenty of pumps for use at the front but from 70 to 73 they were at the back.

In my 1970T with Webers I'm pretty sure the pump is behind the petrol tank, going by the loud whirring and buzzing that comes from there when the ignition's on.
