Hello...again.

Hi everyone.
I've been lurking a bit and enjoying reading the great posts. Having been without a Porsche for a while it's great to see DDK going strong and lots of familiar names still posting.
For those who don't know me, I bought a 911T, 1970. Had it restored in Utah - drove it to LA and shipped it home. The container leaked on the voyage so had to have it restored again back in the UK, thankfully paid for by the insurance. However, after a couple of years of happy motoring, it had become too valuable and it started to own me rather than me own it. I was worried when I left it to buy a coffee and had got to the point where I was only driving it on Sunday mornings when the rest of the world was fast asleep. Not really what I had in mind when I first bought it on eBay...
So I sold it through Paul Stephens, to a guy in Korea who had it shipped out - hopefully, they closed the container doors this time...

Last September I saw a 62 Notchback for sale with European Collectibles which I couldn't get out of my head... It's a bit shite - but that's really what I wanted. I know they're an acquired taste but I love them. After some negotiations with E.C., I shipped it home to the UK and it's currently at PRS where Paul is doing a great job getting it back on the road mechanically. I might start a thread about its journey if I can find some time.
I'll post some pictures but here's a link for it from their website. https://www.europeancollectibles.com/ve ... 356b-coupe
Great to be back...
