without clamping the flexi pipe.

I need to remove the caliper and as i have Goodrich flexi pipes i dont want to squash them.

Is there a blanking plug that can be bought and screwed onto the pipe that normally screws into the caliper?

Yes, buy a female metric brake fitting, either solder the end closed or get an old brake pipe with the flared end, put it in the fitting and block the end of the pipe, either by solder or by clamping the brake pipe flat and doubling it over in a vice

Alternatively you can get brass blanking caps from the likes of Automec, etc :

Or if you unbolt the hardline from the flexi, you can use a bleed nipple

Personally, I'd take the DDK version and have it on my Trick Tools shelf.

PS - That's the method I've used in the past but it does require either a pipe flaring tool or a suitable old brake pipe.
