DDK Northern Meet?

Guys

I can't find the post where we discussed meeting 'Up North' on an evening in the coming months - it must be an age thing :(.

So who's up for it, when & where?

Hopefully we can get at least one evening in before the dark nights and salty roads return...

If you can find the original post and add the link to put my mind at rest I'd be happy to be shown up too .

Looking forward to it already.

I'm up for one IF the weather is good.

I know some of our northern 'crew' are away though

Just a thought, but I've heard (second hand) that Andrew Mearns of Gmund Cars at Knaresborough has a sort of get together for like minded people on Thursday evenings (?). Sometimes a BBQ (?).
Seems a fairly central venue? Anyone know him well enough to invade?

I suggest we decide on a nice pub with good bar snacks & a good car park :) Somewhere near Wetherby would be good

My original thoughts were to have a different place to meet every month / 2 months so we could sample the different parts of the north :)

I'd like it to remain non-commercial if at all possoble (not that I'm suggesting Gmund does this for commercial gain), so the pub idea works best for me.

It's so damned nice today that I'm going out for a blast this evening for sure 8).

I'm sure I can get my pass stamped also James, so name the place and I'll be there tomorrow 8).

Weather dependant, I may bring the T2 to let you have a play in.

Pass doesn't need stamping and, as it's my birthday tomorrow I'll try and join you if that's OK
