I was in Meadowhall this evening and drove past the OPC on the way home. Saw a grey SWB through the window.

Rhd 1968. Looks nice 8)

I'll upload a photo shortly.

.

Modified by someone with very different tastes to me.

Why photograph a car that has an asking price of £115k with several visible rusty screw heads (eg in the indicator/sidelight lenses, carbs, etc) ?

So, you've seen this car before? Where?

There were some incorrect things like H4 headlights, non-factory seats and wooden dash trim.

Is it a T, L or S model?

Thanks for link.

I agree with you about the rusty screws. Terrible.
Have you noticed the oil pressure instrument gauge? Originally a sporto car?

So, this is a T model? But I tell you something in case you didn't know - For model year 1968 (one year only) the T was actually above the S because according to the Sports Purpose manual the titanium con rods are only homologated in the 911T, not in the 911S.

Back in 68, if you wanted to go serious racing, you needed to buy a 911T.

If I wanted to build a TR, I'd be looking for:
Euro 911T
Magnesium engine (after Jan 68?)
Manual
Coupe non-sunroof
Porsche bodied

8)

p.s.
RHD 68T are uber rare..

Trim fit at the B pillar is awful, as is the glove box. What’s the horizontal thing to the right of the radio?

What makes you think that ?

The oil temp scale on Sporto models went to 150psi (as opposed to 140psi of the manual models) ...

I think both models went to 140psi pressure, but I was talking about the left scale of the gauge 'Temp' (sorry for not being clear in my last post), as the manual version had a numeric scale whereas the sporto version was plain (non-numeric).
