It's been re-listed a couple of times but apparently still not sold.
Does anyone here know what was the registration of Ex-Vic Elford's personal 911 (sporto)?

I think. iIrC it was sold a few years back by Michael Lavers at SilverArrows in Putney and I think it was listed as Elford’s. There’s a picture of a purple sporto way down his previously sold cars page and that’s the number showing.

This was our very own Philip Taysom’s car long since departed this forum. That was indeed the Elford car and resided in Yorkshire near Harrogate amongst his collection. Sadly not been for a run in it but I’ve definitely sat in it.

As far as I can remember Philips car ( maroon) was the afn Porsche that was lent to Elford. I think elford liked it and bought a lhd for himself

Tax/duty reasons probably. If you read the barn find discovery thread on Eve you will discover the way the factory circumnavigated the rules at the time to supply their race drivers with road cars.

Looks like a LWB to me, and the door handles indicate not later than '69.
What model is it? T, E or S ?
