Spark Plugs and Resistor less Rotor Arm 1983 3.0SC

Hi, I am going round in circles on this one.
I am looking for a good spark plug for my 1983 3.0 SC. I am converting to EFI.
Bentley and The Essential Companion recommend one plug, the 911 Haynes manual another, most of the US based forums recommend about a dozen different plugs but USA cars, I think, have different spark plug requirements to Euro Spec cars.
I know I am probably opening up another rabbit warren but just looking for some solid recommendations grounded in experience.
Also - trying to track down a suitable rotor arm without a resistor as I am upgrading my CDI and coil and there can be an issue melting the rotor arm and I would like a resistor free one as a spare.
