Instruction / installation guide for Radiomobile 8 track

Hi everyone,
I've a Radiomobile 8 track in my '71 2.2E. It's stopped producing sound - there's still power, it clicks through the 4 8-track channels when you press the right hand button but no sound and can't get the radio either. Not even any hissing...
I suspect it's something simple - does anyone have any ideas / copy of the instructions and/or installation guide to help me fault find it? I know it will sound rubbish and pointless but I do miss it working.
