M471 stripes? Do tell please - I am also looking at my 914....

If you ordered an M471 spec 914 from factory, one of the options was the bonnet and boot stripes as on the Strenger car:




I’ve got a set of those available.

I also have spare white PORSCHE side script, made up to mimic the “fit” (snip snip!) used on the Sonauto car:

Funny you should mention the Strenger car... Erich was also the owner of a beige Renault 4...

Well I only got as far as page 2 Keith where 3 DDK cars were represented; 2 pics of my (and your!) old car, one at Combe, one at Prescott, one of Tony’s before it came to the UK and now subsequently in Monaco, and one of Andy’s blue GT.

I think James’ graphics would suit your car well, perhaps with a Porsche script down the bonnet to one side to match..

Keith is having my M471 stripes.

Looking up the details for him, I found this set of measurements and a nice image which Stephen (defianty) knocked up for me to send to Carbone when they did these for me.

Sharing here in case helpful reference for any 914 stripe testers in the future

Here are measurements for sails too, while I have the files to hand

And this is how my 914 might have looked if we had kept it light ivory and gone with this original styling route.

Looking to put my side stripes along the rocker panels - this couid work!

Pretty safe bet that on the Sonauto car they took standard 911 sill text/stripes and cut them to fit under the door on the 914 as you see them in my pic above
