Looking for a working Green Face Tach for sub 9122/912, sensibly priced if possible.

Have you spoke to Max? Maybe msg Paul at PRS the last swap meet they had a large number of 912 parts for a 356 specialist.
If you can get one that isn't working I can recommend JDO instruments to get it working
