When looking at Jon's picture of the engine bay I see a wiring cover on the electrics.

Is this a standard item?

Thanks,

If you mean the cover over the CDI box and 3 way fuse holder, etc, then I believe yes, although there are slight differences between versions (pre-CDI, with CDI, post CDI).

I can see a pre 74 and a 74 on version - not sure if this is correct?

Does anyone have a pre 74 spare?

Thanks,

Hi Ralph - if you are looking for your '70 model, I don't think they came with a cover for that year. The panel would be exposed but the rear fuse holder would have a cover on it, I think.
Kind regards

Thanks for the info Gitesh.

I think I may still look to see if I have the female thread fixing points though, as I have recently had an electrical issue caused by rain getting into this area.
