Hi all,
Its great to be able to say I've just bought my first Porsche !
Its a 1969 912 Coupe, looks to be in generally good condition mechanically and structurally but with work to be done, and the paint although looks good enough from a few feet away will also need to be seen to as soon as I have it mechanically sound.
I'm coming from the world of VW's having previously had Beetle's (in my 20's) and a rather lovely 1960 Karmann Ghia (in my 40's) that I sold to get me where I am today.
The Porsche feels familiar but different, and after a few weeks ownership the immediately obvious difference is the extra £££'s for parts (!).
I'm sure I will have lots of questions as I feel my way around.
Thanks,
Grant
