DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Following on from my fascinating 'what's this connector' thread, I thought you'd all love another challenge.

Found these in the bottom of a bag of bits given back to me by the guy doing my metalwork. I think he found them loose somewhere.



The yellowing plastic one is made of that dodgy plastic that goes soft over time - last time I saw this stuff used was for the cog of the mechanism from a odometer but I don't think it's fallen out of my instruments, I haven't opened them.

The black one has the look of something that goes round a cable.

Thoughts?

The black one looks link a fuel line grommet. Where the hard plastic lines pass through front & rear bulkheads and fitted with a spring clip

Plastic - guide for cable through metal sleeve in tunnel .... not the sort of thing that's easy to get to or you see very often. (I think).

The plastic "assy" that links hand throttle lever to throttle cable goes same colour after 30 odd years +

Peter, you mean the fuel vapour return pipes?

Think it's too small but tell me more anyway because I don't recall a spring clip when removing these pipes - they just went through a standard grommet in the front scuttle.

Thanks Alan - which cable? Throttle? He has replaced front floor so this could explain how he found this?

Can't remember clearly - from memory both clutch and throttle cables have bare sections in the tunnel (throttle being a rod rather than a wire cable). Look at the parts diagram may answer the question ..... long time since I was in there !!
I would bet throttle rod !

No, the main fuel lines that run from the engine bay (connected by flexibles to the filter, etc), through the tunnel to the froot (connected by flexibles to the fuel pump & tank)

Looks like the brake line grommet for the rear brake line and the remains of the throttle bobbin to me

That’s a bulb holder that fits onto the heater control assembly - the bit with the slidy knobs

The electrical connection bits of my heater control unit kind of fell apart but I have another that I can hopefully butcher to repair...



So where would this bulb holder go? The bulbs that were in there just pushed straight in...
