I am refurbishing my red trumpet horns for my 73.

I want to make a new paper gasket, can I use normal paper or do a need special gasket paper? If so where can I get the gasket paper as it is exceptional thin?

Many thanks

Measure what you have and double it.
Hardest part is cutting it out!

Unfortunately I don't have a micrometer. I am trying to get hold of one.

Feeler gauges will probably give you a rough idea

.

I'd go for 0.25mm - you can get an A4 sheet here for £1-99 inc postage:
