So I’ve always used Swepco 201 but seeing as it is now v expensive compared to anything else, I was just wondering if people still use it or can recommend something else. 1971 911 T without LSD for road use only. I’ve asked Mike Bainbridge but not heard back yet.
Thanks
Rich

I may be wrong but I think that Mike would just recommend any standard SAE 90EP oil.

.
As Brendan says - just use any good quality hypoid EP90 oil - I usually get mine from GSF or Eurocar Parts.

Ok thanks 80w90 gear oil. Swepco comes in a handy size that means you waste a lot of it. Being able to buy 1 litre bottles makes more sense.
Thanks

As said, forget all the snake oils, just simple spec as said, get mine from the local Farmers Shop but to the same spec.
If it has a LSD there is a special one for that too! (plate type LSD)

I used Swepco about 5 years ago and just switched following recommendations on DDK to Valvoline 75w-90. Definitely an improvement with smoother gear changes.

I use Motul 75/90. It took a few changes to make a real difference as Swepco (not a fan,) sticks like wotsit to a blanket!
