Bonnet Hinge paint

Hi,

What colour should the bonnet hides be on a 1968 car?. They were satin black but when stopped the original car paint was underneath.
Whist on the subject should underneath the bonnet be body colour or black ?

Danny get yourself a copy of the Dr Johnson book its really useful for points such as these. Hinges satin black as already advised and under bonnet body colour.
