Mudflaps

I want to fit mudflaps on my 73 Targa. Has anyone done this, or made a bracket to support the mudflaps?

Thank you for the picture,I did in fact contact Rosepassion,but they said they do not supply the brackets and I cannot see where you could attach them.

tbh that is what I thought to!
There are no tidy 'road car' brackets, just crude rally car brackets with big bolts, functional, but look awful.
I think you will need to DIY brackets. There are 2 'L' shaped tubes that sweep down from the rear chassis legs to the lower wing/bumper leading edge. That's where I'd start from.

Hi guys
I Make the mudflaps that rose Passion sells
this part is a original 356 parts for T6 cars - late B and C
the cut out in the flap fits the bumper on a 356 ,
This was never a 911 part , but was used by many rally drivers in the 60´s on 911
so that was never any factory brackets
the best way is to just 2 clamps around the rear bumper J tube bracket-

no the cut out is not for the 911 bumpers its for the 356 T 6 bumpers
original and I do got a set NOS with the label still ( you can see the picture on my insta under early911parts
they where not made by Porsche , but some how on a licens in Sweden due to in the 60´s
ALL cars in sweden must have the mudflaps mounted
and all swedish 356 T 6 cars had these , and then all swedish rally cars somehow adapted these for 911
you often see Waldegard´s 911 with these mounted

We can do 150€ incl postage to UK
if you search on the early911sregistry under mudflaps and Marek you would see how some guys mounted these

Thank you Marek for all the info.I have now located a seconhand set,unused,from a DDK member.
I couldn't find any pics of how they are fitted,so if you have by chance got any thoughts I would love to hear them.

My car had mudflaps on when purchased. They were mounted with bolts through holes drilled in the fender brace. They’d been mounted since the 70s so it worked/held up? Mudflaps were in bad shape and had VW markings on them. To avoid being struck by lightning or similar, they were replaced w Marek’s a number of years ago using same method.
