Dark nights down in the shed

I have to say I was tempted, tempted by the big box just like a big kid. And it said Revell in the top corner so I just had to have it. A 1/16th scale plastic kit of a 356 but the clincher was it's a T6B - my car no less. So I got the glue out but wait, it didn't need glue because it was a snap together offering. This was not good as I hadn't really noticed this. Snap together means less detail and less parts and if you are going to paint the thing it won't snap together anyway because of the thickness of the paint. And this was no exception. There was also no provision for opening doors or bonnet too. Nil desperandum, I got on with building it up, air brushed it, got the doors and bonnet opening, I fancied outlaw-ing it but decided to just keep it stock. It turned out quite nicely and kept me out of the pub for a few days. Now all I've got to do is find somewhere to put the damn thing, it's a foot long.

I reckon you’ve done pretty well there. Shove that on eBay, 3 owners 65k miles. £79,995. There’ll be a queue round the block.

A foot long ? :laughing6: That's a big little car.

Looks great though, very realistic and for some reason reminded me of this guy who plays with perspective and scale.
