Newbie to the Porsche world ........ But flat 4 oldtimer

Finally got myself around to posting up . Not posted on a forum for many moons now .
Bought a 66 912 a couple of years ago , and not alot happened with it other than taking floors out and unbolting a few bits . But shipped it off to SmithsVW and they did the floor and various small weldy up bits on it as i was a bit busy and lazy i guess .
I run a company called Buttys Bits and make parts mainly for early VW`s (Although list of early Porsche stuff is growing weekly) , but always fancied an early 912 or 911 , but realistically 912 was more me and with my wallet . I`m more into rough and ready cars , get in it and not worry about it kind of thing . No pretty vehicles 1966 912 / 1966 Bug and 1963 Splitbus (Work horse and the reason for making alot of the stuff i do).......
Any pointers on the adding images front let me know and will try and add a few of the 912 . Also once i get myself sorted i will generate a discount code for members on here to use .

Welcome to DDK Butty. I'm aware of your bits (that doesn't sound right) from the VW scene so good to have you on here.
In terms of image hosting you need to host your images elsewhere such as Flickr, Postimage and the like and then save the image location (varies by provider on how to do this) and paste it between the boxes which appear after clicking the Img button above the text box when typing a new post. The link below should give you more help:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3864
Alternatively it is apparently a lot easier using the Tapatalk app from your phone!
Cheers

Welcome I use postimage which is very easy to use for photo hosting.
I know of your VW products too, I am good mates with Steve Hall (just finishing his firebus) who raves about them. Lots of VW people on here too.
Look forward to seeing some more info about the build.

Arhhh Mr Hall man with a van he cant sleep in . Build wise it's slow, seem to be taking parts off then either cleaning blasting and painting and going back on or with various damaged bolts replacing with new ones and adding items to the website for others to buy , but I like buying and selling stuff as kits . So sites filling up with basically bits I needed , either I couldn't justify some of the silly prices and sourced myself or actually draw up and get made myself .
