HI - Long story short this car was owned by a friend whom I did some business with in the exhibition industry, he sadly passed away earlier this year. I was intending to restore the car, may still do, however those that know me know that I've too many other projects and little or no time for another, so if I get what I need this will go as is.
The car is tired, needs painted as there has been some previous damage to the the rear right quarter/flare and the area where the oil tank sits has rotted through. The rest of the bodywork is very sound, floors, and doors etc are all sound and I can send 30+ pics via whatsapp to those that are interested. Paintwork is scruffy elsewhere hence a repaint (external only)
Johnny, my mechanic had been doing some work over the past few years for my friend with new discs and pads on all 4 corners, all the intake rubbers refreshed, engine still needs a good service but drives well and manual transmission is fine. Mechanically the car is good also.
The hood has been poorly fitted and I'd suggest that there are some bars/bits missing and the rear motors have been disconnect however still work. The interior is also tired and could do with some sprucing up.
Mileage is 119k - UK car, early 90's and other than the previous owners wife wants the registration take off the car it is as seen.
The car has been MOT'd and will mot as is, if I don't sell as is then I'll MOT it, service it and tidy up some bits and pieces but may well ask more for it and advertise properly on Pistonheads / Ebay.
Offering first time of asking here on DDK before deciding what's next.
Car is in Belfast and will need collected, I can arrange transportation c. £500 to anywhere in the UK - just let me know.
