My 356c restoration

Ok, so I finally finished the restoration of my original UK supplied RHD 356c . .. well to be honest I finished it last year but didn't get around to posting about it. I bought her way back in 1996, drove it for 7 years then found a tiny bit of rust in the front spare wheel well. The more we peeled back the more we found and in the end it turned into a 15 year project. It was also a trouser wettingly expensive project but I guess most of you on this forum already know about that. Anyway, I'm super please with the final result. She's as near to original as I could get her but made a few minor sacrifices like duel circuit brakes and brake fluid level indicator on the hand brake light. It's a fully matching number car. The engine was built by PRS who made a great job, the gear box by Andy Prill (though I must admit 3rd gear howls like a morris minor which is disappointing considering how much it cost but to be fair I've yet to speak to Andy on this)

So here's a few pics, I do have the hub caps, just like the look of it without showing off the freshly painted wheels and zinced fixings

Wonderful! I’m jealous because mine is so close but taking an age in the paint shop.
